How long will the sale be?

The sale starts on October 31st at 9am PST and will end when we are out of stock. We have less than 300 decks, so we anticipate them going quickly!

How long will it take to receive my package?

Shipping will begin on November 7th and will be sent in the order by which they were received. We have all of our stock on hand, so there will be no waiting for manufacturers or warehouse delays. We use standard USPS shipping and are located in New York state.

Why can’t I buy decks in packs of 3, 4, 5, etc.?

To be transparent, we simply don’t have the human-power for anything beyond the most basic shipping/handling. We’ve arranged all shipping/handling in a way that makes it possible for you to receive them in a timely manner.

If you would like to purchase more than 2 decks you are welcome to, however we are unable to combine packages/shipping. For example, if you purchase a pack of 2 decks and a pack of 1 deck, you will receive two separate packages and be charged shipping for both. 

Can you ship packages outside of the U.S.?

No. With the cost and complication of shipping outside of the U.S. right now, we aren’t able to send our decks internationally at this time. Wandering Journey, a vendor out of Hong Kong, does have our decks in stock and available for purchase [last updated 10/15/25].

Is this the same deck as last time? Where can I learn more about the deck/artists?

Yes, this is the Fat Folks Tarot Deck Edition 2, so it is the same deck we launched with our Kickstarter in 2023. You can learn more about this edition on our website Fat Folks Tarot.

Why are the decks more expensive than during your Kickstarter?

Our Kickstarter Backers received the Fat Folks Tarot Decks and merchandise at the absolutely lowest price point we could afford as a benefit of being a Backer. We’re selling them for the more standard retail price of $60, rather than the Kickstarter price of $50. We still did our best to keep the price as low as possible - if you have further questions about the cost of manufacturing vs retail prices for indie tarot, please reach out, and we will do our best to answer them.

You’re selling these in “as is” packaging - what does that mean?

“As-is” in this case refers to the quality of protective wrapping provided by the manufacturer. While all of the products themselves are in new condition, we received some decks from the manufacturer with very damaged shrink-wrapping, making them appear potentially opened. None of these decks have been opened or used in any way; every item for sale is brand new from the manufacturer. You can see examples of what this looks like on the sales page. Not every item in this sale has the “unusual” shrink-wrapping, but we wanted to make note of it so no one was surprised.

It’s possible we may uncover some “seconds” or partially damaged decks during this process that will be made available for sale. If so, they will be posted on our website separately for a lower price with more specific details.

I can’t get the deck right now, but I really want it! When will you sell it again?

Sadly, never. Version 2 of the Fat Folks Tarot Deck was our final printing ever, and this is the very last of our stock. We will not be reprinting or selling the Fat Folks Tarot Deck after this sale. Even good things can’t last forever!

What is your Return Policy?

Fat Folks Tarot only accepts returns on damaged or misprinted items. If you receive your deck and there is something wrong with it, please reach out to us at [email protected] to arrange an exchange. We accept returns/exchanges on faulty items within 30 days of delivery. 

Will you be offering wholesale?

No, we are no longer able to offer wholesale. If you’re a business, you’re welcome to purchase a deck and stock it, but we are not able to offer wholesale pricing or other services at this time.

Do you offer tarot readings? Was it really you who DMed me with an offer to do a reading?

No, neither Fat Folks Tarot nor anyone affiliated will reach out to you and offer you a tarot reading. This is a common scam, so please don’t give anyone your money thinking it’s us! We are only selling our items through our official website at this time, and we are not selling tarot readings. If someone reaches out to you pretending to be us, please block and report them. There’s unfortunately nothing we can do about these scams except keep reporting them and making people aware.
